I want to ask that, can watching movie help as to improve more and learn a lot of things?

Yes,english movie can learn more english,but this method is not best.

If you want to learn more english,you can browse some chinese english tutorials website.

2樓英文都好似有D錯絕對係典型的港式英語.__. 不過唔想改完又錯俾人笑SO唔改啦

Personally, watching western movies is a way we can hear how native English speakers speak.
So I think it helps for sure.
However, there's one thing you must do, that is trying to speak like them, or it will be too late when you find that you are not speaking as naturally as you wish.

For written tests/exams, movie watching won't help much.

Ahha that's not true man =P.

English can definitely be improved if people watch movies. When you familiar with English, both reading and writing skills, and surely listening skill can be advanced.

I mean for exam purpose, with other subjects to be done, this won't do much.
Watching movies may even pull u down.

For leisure, of course this is a good to learn.

I think watching movies with English subtitle/without subtitle can help. However, most of the movies we watch in the cinema often provide Chinese subtitle/.\
(My English is weak <don't laugh at me /.\)
