If you wanna say study is foreign country, there is a term called study aboard.

And the last sentence if you wanna use as passive form, "be" must be added after will.

    of course the locals is better than our hk people.

Yea but the main different is that English counts on the foundation. =)

So, it's better for you to learn it as soon as possible to get a better basic skill.
